Akademi’s Jamaica pilot program launched with the goal of training aspiring data professionals. This 4-month, part-time Data Science & AI Bootcamp attracted 59 applicants, with 8 students selected to participate. Designed for accessibility, the program welcomed learners with no prior programming experience, focusing on hands-on training, industry-aligned curriculum, and personalized career support. This pilot marks the beginning of Akademi’s expansion across the Caribbean, paving the way for future cohorts.
